The Department ran a trip to the Citizens Theatre in Glasgow to see a production of William Shakespeare's 'Hamlet', directed by the renowned director, Guy Hollands, who recently directed 'Yellow Moon' shown at the Lyceum.  The play was a fantastic production, full of humour and darkness.  The highlights were the truly frightening ghost and the bawdy production of the 'play within the play' which was highly amusing, yet very effectve, making use of shadows and mime in addition to the comedic aspects. 

 The group enjoyed the production hugely, despite the traffic jams and 'bus related' issues!   We hope to do another trip later this year.
